Statement of performance expectations 2025/26 published
As a Crown entity and regulator, the Electricity Authority Te Mana Hiko is focused on delivering clear priorities that support our strategic outcomes. Central to this is improving consumer choice and ensuring access to secure, affordable electricity. Our newly published Statement of performance expectations sets out how we’ll deliver on this commitment over the coming year.
The statement is published annually as required under the Crown Entities Act 2004. It includes our forecast financial statements, performance targets and how performance will be assessed against our strategic outcomes. We have included a table of strategic activities and will report on our progress every quarter.
Our Statement of performance expectations has regard to the October 2024 Statement of Government Policy and been informed by:
- Letter of expectations 2025/26 from the Minister for Energy
- letter from the Minister of Finance on fiscal sustainability
- submissions received in our 2056/26 levy-funded appropriations consultation
We recommend reading our Statement of intent 2024-28 alongside our Statement of performance expectations 2025/26 to understand the full context of our work.
