Summary of submissions published for distribution settings issues paper

In late 2022 and early 2023 we consulted on our issues paper: Updating the regulatory settings for distribution networks.

We received 40 submissions on this issues paper and have now published these along with a summary of submissions with respondent’s feedback.

We began engaging with stakeholders on potential issues in 2021. We are committed to ensuring the right steps are taken, and due to both the dynamic and evolving environment and our intention to not regulate new and emerging issues too early, this workstream has been a multi-year workstream.

The feedback received in the submissions will inform our policy decisions and we are preparing a decision paper for the Board to consider in September 2023, including a forward work programme to address key issues.

Thanks to the extensive consultation that has taken place over the past two years, the Authority is confident that we can move reasonably quickly to stand-up this work programme, following the final consultation round.

Read the summary and submissions on our consultation page.
