Watch our August quarterly update

  • Corporate

Thanks to everyone who joined our quarterly update on Thursday 21 August.

Our Chief Executive, Sarah Gillies, opened the session with an update on our recent work, including our increased information gathering powers, Emergency Reserve Scheme consultation and the generation investment pipeline.

Sarah thanked stakeholders for their continued engagement with our output and acknowledged that it is a busy time, both at the Electricity Authority and in the wider sector, as we work to address issues and opportunities for the benefit of consumers.

Staff then provided updates on:

  • Consumer Care Obligations compliance monitoring
  • Energy Competition Task Force work programme progress
  • Transitioning to a more digital energy system
