Plug-in generation
We want to understand what people think about plug-in generation, sometimes called balcony solar.
While these products are not currently available in New Zealand, we want to understand how consumers might use them and get important information they would need, before we consider any future changes to the Electricity Industry Participation Code.
Your answers will help us understand:
- how consumers might use plug-in generation
- what consumers know about, or expect, any rules and requirements for using these systems
- where people would look for information
- what information and support people would need
- any barriers consumers may face if plug-in generation becomes available in New Zealand.
