Call for nominations
We are calling for nominations for up to three new members of the Switch and Data Formats Group. We are seeking applications from those with knowledge and experience relevant to:
- the switching process
- the reconciliation process
- the EIEPs as they currently stand
- existing and potential methods of communication between participants
- existing and potential methods of communication between participants and service providers
- existing and potential methods of communication between participants and consumers or third-party providers.
We're also interested in applications that could improve retailer representation on the group.
If you would like to apply, read the terms of reference and complete and return a nomination form to digitalisation@ea.govt.nz by 5pm, 1 July 2025.
Role
The Switch and Data Formats Group reviews and provides advice on switching processes, as well as the exchanges of information between industry participants to ensure they remain efficient and fit for purpose as the industry evolves.
The Group replaces two dormant technical groups, the Standing Data Formats Group and the Switch Technical Group, so that advice can be delivered more effectively through one group.
