Annual levy rates calculated for 2026/27
- Corporate
The Electricity Authority Te Mana Hiko’s annual levy rates have been calculated for the financial year ending 30 June 2027, in accordance with regulation 7 of the Electricity Industry (Levy of Industry Participants) Regulations 2010.
The annual levy rates have been published in the New Zealand Gazette.
The Authority received a net increase of $0.3 million in the levy-funded appropriation from the Government’s Budget 2026 and this is reflected through the levy rates for 2026/27.
The additional funding enables us to continue to meet the costs of the System Operator contract, service provider contractual obligations and delivery of high priority work to improve the electricity market for consumers.
