Distribution pricing scorecards 2023 published
- Distribution
- Prices
We’ve published our distribution pricing scorecards and related information paper for 2023 for each electricity distribution business.
This year most distributors made significant improvements in both pricing methodologies and strategy roadmaps for the challenges of the future.
The scorecards provide a high-level summary of distributors’ pricing methodologies and their roadmaps to improve distribution pricing. They show how each distributor performed against a set of metrics that we consider reflect good pricing practices and efficient pricing methodologies.
Our information paper summarises the main findings from our review of distributor’s performance this year and explains each performance metric for the scorecards.
We provide guidance on how distributors should implement efficient pricing. We then monitor distributors' alignment with our guidance to ensure the right outcomes are achieved for consumers.
Our scorecards ensure that each electricity distribution business can assess their performance against others and understand how their alignment with our guidance is progressing.
