New members appointed to the Electricity Authority Advisory Group

We’re pleased to announce the appointment of seven new members to the Electricity Authority Advisory Group (EAAG), following our recent call for nominations.
The EAAG provides independent advice to the Authority’s work programme and provides feedback on the practical implications of potential regulatory decisions for consumers and stakeholders.
We welcome the following people to the Advisory Group for a two-year term:
- Emily Gadaleta
- Evie Trolove
- Jeff Smit
- Linda Mulvhill
- Moonis Vegdani
- Nick Haines
- Shay Brazier
These new members bring a wealth of experience and diverse perspectives that will enrich the Group’s contributions to the Authority’s work programme.
We extend our sincere thanks to the members who have served over the past year and are now stepping down. Their insights and dedication have been invaluable.

About the Electricity Authority Advisory Group
Established in June 2024, the Advisory Group plays a vital role in providing formal advice to the Electricity Authority and serves as a key platform for stakeholder engagement. It ensures a broad range of voices - including those of consumers and communities - are heard in our decision-making processes. The Group is independently chaired by Jamie Silk.
