As a Crown entity and regulator, the Electricity Authority intends to create increasing value for New Zealand and New Zealanders in our work. This is the focus of our Statement of intent 2024-28 and Statement of performance expectations 2024/25, which have now been published.

The Statement of intent sets out the Authority’s strategic intentions over a four-year period from 2024-28, while our Statement of performance expectations is published annually and sets out how we will measure our financial and non-financial performance. Both are key planning documents, required under the Crown Entities Act 2004.
