Stress test disclosures due by 24 June
- Wholesale
- Compliance
The spot price risk disclosure (stress testing) regime requires certain participants in the wholesale electricity market to assess their financial exposure to hypothetical movements in electricity spot prices and report the results each quarter.
The stress testing regime applies if a participant consumes electricity directly from the national grid or purchases electricity from the Clearing Manager.
The disclosures for the third quarter of 2026 are due on Wednesday 24 June 2026, which is five business days before the start of the quarter to which the disclosure relates.
Disclosing participants need to report their results to their Board and to NZX, in its role as the independent registrar appointed by the Electricity Authority Te Mana Hiko.
Aggregated stress test results from previous quarters are available on our website.
