Are you a skilled policy analyst looking for your next career move? We’re recruiting for two roles:

Senior Analyst – Policy (closes 11 June)

Join our Market Policy (Operations) team and undertake complex policy analysis to develop innovative and durable policy options that support the strategic, regulatory and commercial aspects of the electricity market.

Analyst – Policy (closes 28 May)

Join our Retail and Network Markets team to help shape regulatory improvements that help create an innovative, consumer-centric electricity industry.

It’s an exciting time to join the electricity sector. New Zealand has committed to achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. The government has committed to reaching net zero for long-lived gases by 2050, set a target that 50% of total energy consumption will come from renewable sources by 2035, and has an aspirational target of 100% renewable electricity by 2030.

As New Zealand transitions to a low-carbon electricity system, the operation of the power system needs to evolve to meet new challenges in maintaining the required security of supply and reliability standards. So join our team and help support Aotearoa’s transition to a renewable power system.

Please note we consider applications as they are received, so we encourage you to apply early.
